Get started¶
Four steps, about fifteen minutes if KOReader is already on your e-reader. Longer if your Kindle still needs jailbreaking, but each guide walks you through it.

1 Install KOReader
The free reading app Bookshelf runs inside. Links to the official guide for each device.

2 Install Bookshelf
Download one zip, copy one folder, restart.

3 Point it at your books
Bookshelf shows the books in KOReader's home folder. Usually there's nothing to do.

4 Make it your home screen
Have KOReader open straight onto your shelf.
Then take your first five minutes to find your way round. If you already know KOReader well, Coming from KOReader is the quicker read.
