Every menu option

This page lists every Bookshelf menu and dialog, organised by where you find it. Each option has its exact label in bold (labels on screen use American spelling, such as Color, Favorites and Behavior), what it does, and its default on a fresh install. (A few defaults are different if you upgraded from an older version; those say so.)

Most of Bookshelf's settings live in KOReader's top menu: tap the top edge of the screen (or swipe down from it) while the shelf is showing, then pick the Bookshelf tab, the open-book icon second from the left. That tab only appears in the file browser and on the shelf, not while a book is open.

Paths are written like Bookshelf > Settings > Behavior.

About

Start with

This is KOReader's own setting, not a Bookshelf one. In KOReader's file browser, open the top menu, go to the first (filing-cabinet) tab, then the last row, Start with, and choose bookshelf. The row then reads Start with: bookshelf and the shelf opens at once. Choosing any other Start with option while the shelf is showing closes it. See also Open on startup.
